Known as the hostel with the most fun in Riga, The Naughty Squirrel Backpackers Hostel was completely renovated in February 2009. All bedrooms, showers and toilets have been updated, and there are also full cooking facilities. Located in the heart of Rigas old town, this Australian- and Latvian-owned and managed hostel offers free internet and Wi-Fi access. Other freebies include lockers and locks, bed linens and towels, local city maps, information and travel advice, walking tours and tea all day long. All rooms and entrance doors at the Naughty Squirrel have smart card key locks for your exclusive access, and CCTV provides additional security. All dormitory beds include free use of an under-bed locker for your backpack. The hostel has a large common room for meeting fellow travellers and sharing experiences from the road.
