The hostel is located very near the historic centre of Riga (Old Town). This area has been branded a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, who have described the city as of "outstanding universal value by virtue of the quality and the quantity of its Art Nouveau/Jugendstil architecture, which is unparalleled anywhere in the world".
